Oh boy, this is the phase of the remodeling where you really hope you hired people that know what they're doing! I tried to take as many pictures as I could, but to be honest, I had a minor panic attack the day we were there.... so much work to be done!!! So I'm not sure if I took a great set of photos or not. Without further ado.... here are the new pictures :).

Aaron is standing there to give a little perspective as to the size of everything.

Nice hole in the floor, huh?

New electrical panel that was moved to the bedroom from the kitchen.

New bathroom.... what you are looking at are channels that we had to cut out of the concrete slab foundation for the pipes. I drove by the house while the contractor was doing this and saw so much dust flying out of the house, that I kept on driving!!! That hole in the upper right hand corner will be the toilet and the sink will be to the right- the shower is to the left.

This will eventually be the shower.

The laundry room. Ok, the stackable washer/dryer in the bathroom :). This is probably one of the only things that is actually staying the same.

View from living room towards bathroom and hallway (the bedroom is to the left of the bathroom).

Old insulation pile. Yummy.

View towards front door. The fridge will be against that wall closest to Aaron (basically where the turquoise and white colors are) and the island will be somewhere from where his foot is to the edge of my shadow. Roughly :).

View into the bathroom from the hallway.

The bedroom... had to turn the camera diagonal to try and get everything in. Still didn't work :).

Old hole in wall from random pipes.

More shots of the floor. We counted five layers of flooring!
The contractor is hoping for sheetrock by Friday! If so, I'll have a new sets of pictures, but I'm not 100% sure it's going to happen :).
House................ what house? ohmygoodness, it is gone and now I can't even remember what it looked like to begin with afternow seeing one large room. Well, let the creators begin their creation! Say, how long are they projecting> Thanks for the update! It is going to be mighty fine! Mom
ReplyDeleteCan you save the old insulation for me? I'd like to use to line Baker's bedroom ... she'll have so much fun bouncing off the walls :-)
